'Thank you so much to the team! You lovely ladies were fabulous and we really, really hope to work with you again soon!'

-Gemma Sandhu

Children are wonderfully imaginative and for a little while, we get to jump into these magical worlds with them.

Our Roots

Louby Lou's Storytelling was established in October 2016 by Sarah Hancock, a Blaenau Gwent based actress with a passion in delivering creative sessions for children and their parents. After a few taster sessions at a local community hall and support from a local library who saw the potential and importance of these sessions, Louby Lou's grew from strength to strength.

We now run storytelling sessions in communities and schools across South Wales and the surrounding areas, (alongside our birthday party company) with children, adults and teachers all taking part in exploring and growing their creative skills.

Adopting the nickname 'Louby Lou', Sarah is the founder and owner of the company. Sarah trained in Theatre Arts at Middlesex University and has over six years experience in facilitating children's workshops. She was previously a professional princess and alongside writing theatre shows, she has also appeared in several pantomimes.

'I would love to read when I was little and I would often try to re-enact what had happened in the story. We read books in schools, books at home and books before we go bed, so why not focus in on bringing our stories to life in a magical way for little imaginations. That is why I love my job and that is why I set up the company.'
